The strange and wonderful

I am trying to settle in Nagoya. One by one the pieces fall in place.

I took a trip with a workmate some months back in the search of a good vegan place to eat...but we went round in circle in some town in the middle of somewhere.

For one thing, most places in Nagoya are closed on Mondays. If places aren't completely closed...they open at 10am.

We accidentally found this Chinese shop...pretty much like the ones in South Africa. Something's were not the same though. It seems the Chinese have advances to packaging chicken feet. My Filipino workmate was also surprised, since in both our countries chicken run always aren't packaged...they are like the name: to take on the go.

We also found a beautiful temple at the top of a hill...needless to say...we were still hungry from looking for a place to eat for 3 or so hours...could've been more.
