Finding and looking

A Beading Dancer adventure through a cannon.

A long week in Japan. I have been here for full week now, landed on Thursday and been here busy organising things I need to live in Japan. You need to have a visa before coming to Japan, but you also need to budget for expensive rentals for a place, a fee for the local ward office for living in the area and a lot of other things.

I am guestimating that I can start making Beading Dancer merchandise once I have a place to stay that's all mine and I have sourced all my items for a studio. That might only be in two months. This my reality as I move to another continent, I still need to make items for my clients cause as much as they would like consistency...I also like my therapy.

I decided to take a walk today to get out of the guesthouse and after finishing work for a client. I could officially sleep in late and take a walk without worrying about my time.

I went to my favourite street...I came here before when I was living in Kiso. My favourite streets to shop are the inbetween alleys of Osu cause all the good vintage shops are there.  I came across a lot of these shops today....they are just treasures. Vintage shops in Japan are divided into expensive and less expensive shops.

It depends on what you are looking for....but I prefer the less expensive ones...unless I have found something I know is hard to find. Like some old school addidas.
Then homeward bound to do some laundry...before being reminded that South Africa is more than a direction.
